Tandoori Paneer or Chicken

  • Paneer cubes or Chicken pieces 250gms
  • Fresh curd 1cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Fresh lime juice 2tbsp  
  • Tandoor masala 1tsp
  • Cooking oil 2tsp
  • Salt to taste

Marinate the paneer or chicken pieces in the curd, lime juice, tandoori masala and salt for 1 hour. Put the marinated pieces in a pan with a tight fitting lid and cook on a high flame until the pieces shrink in size. Then remove the lid and cook on a low flame until all the water dries up. To avoid the pieces from sticking to the pan, you may add 2tsps of oil. Serve garnished with onion rings and wedges of lemon.
