Types of pasta


  • Penne - Best with tomato sauces with veggies or meat, they nestle inside the tubes. 
  • Macaroni - Best with creamy sauces which are captured by all the crevices. 
  • Fusilli - Best with chunky tomato sauces, which cling to the corkscrews.
  • Shells - Best with sauces with veggies or meat chopped to similar size as the pasta.
  • Spaghetti - Best with thicker  tomato or cream based sauces that are full boiled, not delicate.
  • Farfalle - Best with thick, creamy sauce or even in pasta salad.
