- Paneer 250g
- Bay leaf 1
- Cloves 2
- Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp
- Red Chilli powder 1tsp
- Cashewnut paste 3tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Corriander powder 1tsp
- Kasuri methi 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 2tsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter 3tbsp
- Fresh Cream 3tbsp
- Corriander leaves to garnish
Blanch onion and tomato and puree them seperately.
Saute paneer in 1tbsp of ghee and put it into 1 cup of hot water with a pinch of salt and turmeric in it(thic will keep the paneer soft).
Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add bay leaf and cloves. Then add onion paste and saute till light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till it looses the raw smell.
Add chilli powder followed by cashew paste and fry for 5 mins.
Add tomato puree, crushed kasuri methi, corriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Stir and let it simmer for a while.
Add paneer and simmer for 5 min. Add a small cup of water and let it cook on medium heat till it reaches the desired consistency.
Add remaining butter& cream. Garnish with corriander leaves.
